The Challenges of Cyber Security in Nuclear Energy
Please join us in welcoming Edward (Ted) Quinn, former ANS President, who will speak at the next Connecticut Section Dinner Meeting on the topic of Cyber Security on May 22nd, 2013. Ted’s talk will address the massive growth in cyber security threats to all sectors of our culture including nuclear, and the progress and lessons learned by both the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and the utilities in working with FERC/NERC in implementing prudent security programs and controls to protect the safety functions of key components and also provide continuity of power.
